INTRODUCTORY LETTER

Francisco Sardina, President

I have been asked to introduce Fundacion Manantial.

I can say that Fundacion Manantial is a state-wide, non-profit organization, recognized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in 1995 as a charitable organization and provider of healthcare services.

It may also be said that its objectives are mainly to provide guidance to people suffering from severe mental disorders (SMD), implementing and managing health care resources for people with SMD, and generating social employment for people with SMD.
Or, to summarize, we may say that our MISSION is providing social and integral care for people with SMD.
I could even describe its structure, give a detail of the number of resources and care units in existence and of the people with SMD that the institution takes care of at the moment, our projects and plans.
All of this would be correct, nevertheless, I'd rather speak of magic.
Fundacion Manantial as an electric current that connects a quick, flexible government organization with a highly qualified management team, as well as with a sensitive and humane group of professionals empathetic with those who are disadvantaged, who need and deserve society's prioritary attention.

It fills me with joy to think that Fundacion Manantial is a utopia which day by day struggles with the reality of a harsh and competitive society, but which thanks to the great team that makes it up, finds kindness in the souls of public officials, top-level executives of companies, professionals and civil society in general, to tilt the scale in favor of hope and enthusiasm and against hopelessness, despondency and indolence.

Fundacion Manantial emnbodies a mix of high-quality management-based company philosophy with a selfless spirit, and why not say it, love for people with SMD and their families.

It is what I like to call "the spirit of the Foundation".

I always ask the human element, which was the seed of the first resources, to transmit that spirit to the members of their teams who joined the foundation later and whom they train.

But I don't want to talk about the charm of our beloved institution any more.

Please, access our page and learn about Fundacion Manantial, with my warmest regards.
